The Kobult - A Simple Kobold Avatar Base

My take on a stylized species of Kobold with some canid influences. It's simple to edit and certainly affordable, so it should make a good beginner-friendly anthropomorphic avatar.

Built for use with the VRChat Creator Companion.

Includes:

• Avatar .FBX + a copy of the original Blender save
• GIMP + Photoshop saves of the textures in layers for easy editing
• Base color textures (plus sample recolors present on the demo avatar)
• Ready-to-upload Unity packages for both PCVR and Android Standalone

Base Avatar Stats:

• 16,596 Tris
• 2 Material Slots
• 13.4MB texture memory usage (10.12MB on Android)
• 3 Physbones (17 transforms, 14 collision checks)
• 1 Skinned Mesh
• Ranked "Good" on PC, "Poor" on Android

Built-In Features:

• Simple eye/body color customization
• Body/eye shape customization (pupil width/height, iris narrow/circular)
• Some QOL toggles (no JumpAndFall animation, built-in seated height adjustment, disable lip sync, etc.)
• Manual tail wagging/posing + automatic expression/AFK tail animation
• Swappable left hand/right hand expression control
• Extra expressions not found on the demo avatar

Requirements:

• VRChat Creator Companion
• Poiyomi Toon Shader VCC Package
• Unity 2022.3.22f1
• Blender (or an alternative) if you intend to edit the model
• Image editing software of your choice for recolors

License:

• Feel free to make your custom upload 'Public' on VRChat, just do not attempt to claim ownership of the assets themselves. Please use the appropriate tags for your upload.
• Do not reupload the files for the base or otherwise attempt to directly sell/redistribute the assets as they are provided. However, you may freely commission/be commissioned for edits of the avatar (paid or unpaid).
